iPhone nano in the works? Friday Aug 8th
Rumours are surfacing that Apple may be about to offer a cut down iPhone of around the same size as the 3rd generation iPod nano. While details of the mini uber phone are understandably scarce it has been suggested that the new handset (available via O2 only in the UK like its larger sibling) will be aimed at pay as you go customers and may be available as soon as the autumn.
Apple has filed several patents that may (or may not) cover aspects of the new phone including having touch dialling on the back of the phone with a screen on the front.
