Apple No1 in Schools in Europe! Saturday Aug 2nd
Research firm Gartner have released data that gives Apple the number one spot among sellers of computer hardware to schools and colleges in Europe. Currently almost one in five computers sold into schools is a Mac (19.1%), this includes servers. Apple has eclipsed the number two seller (Dell) which has a 17% market share.
Apple has also moved up a gear across Europe, with 4.3% of the overall computer market, a jump of 40%. In the last three months Apple has shipped a total of 119,000 Macs (of all types).
