This marked the switch from the radical lampstand design to the new all in one look. The G5 processor was good enough in its day but this machines Achilles heal is the heat the G5 generates. These Macs are prone to several faults, not least power supply and logic board failures. Combined with the PPC limitation of only running up to OS X 10.5, these Macs are firmly at the bargain basement end of the Mac tree.
